FrontStage

Frontstage is an audience participation system that was built for interpretive flexibility among users. The system consists of a Presenter Portal that is run on an iPad and an audience app that can be run on an iPhone or iPod. The aim is to test the system in a wide variety of contexts to examine how users appropriate and interpret the device, and, by extension, their relationship to the presenter and the audience.
